I’m very excited to share this post with you because it’s all about these ふわふわ SQUISHIES! Fuwa fuwa means fluffy in Japanese.
Also just to put it out there, I’m fully aware that I’m a 27 yr. old grown woman / adult.. hahaha. I just happen to really love all things kawaii so I don’t mind sharing my child-like hobbies. One of those ~child-like~ hobbies is collecting (hoarding?? lol) kawaii squishies! Click here to view my post before about my squishie haul, haha~!
So when SQUISHY KIOSK emailed me about sending a box of squishies to me, how could I say no?? Haha!
When I first visited their website, I got SHOOKT. The unicorn squishy that I’ve been seeing all over instagram (I do search and explore the #squishy hashtag when I have free time lol).. the rainbowholic in me got so excited!!

The JP post guy tried his best to send it to my place but I couldn’t get the right timing twice (my work has been crazy these weeks). I decided to have it picked up at our city’s post office (there are many ways to have your package redelivered in Japan ^^). That was me being a dedicated squishy lover.
I decided to add the squishies in one of my Hobonichi With Me videos for more ~kawaii visuals~ lol.
Hello rainbow fam!
Last April 1st, we traveled to Yokohama for the Gudetama Festival to celebrate Gudetama’s 5th year anniversary! Aki and I had the best time of our lives, haha!
~ watch the vlog here yay ~
(does anyone know what kind of flower is this?)
What a delightful sight, Gudetama’s butt!
It’s currently 3:00 am here in Japan and I’m still awake. Figured I should attempt to blog so that I can feel sleepy afterwards. Netflix isn’t working tonight.. so it must be my brain wanting to unload some thoughts, lol.
Here is a photo of the beautiful cherry blossom tree near my brother’s place. I can still remember the feeling when it was giving us a pink shower with the wind and all. Super surreal.
It’s getting warmer and warmer everyday and my icecream cravings are hard to control now, haha!
Workshop at Cafe Stay Happy with Abbey was a big success! Arigatou to everybody who helped us a lot! 🙂
Long talks and lots of laughter with this one. Thanks for the constant push and inspiration, Abbey!
This might look effortless to some people but this talent / skill was honed through YEARS of nonstop practice. BIG respect! Continue reading
Konbanwa from Japan!
Before I go to sleep, I just feel like blogging. It’s been quite a hectic week for me ever since I came back from the (tiring but fulfilling) backpacking trip and unloading all of my thoughts right now seems to be the best idea to end the night, haha!
To start this blog entry, let me just plug this teaser video I’ve created. It’s just short (hopefully sweet, lol) and I hope that it would make you want to look forward to the entire video series I’m working on! 🙂
My goal is to edit these video clips we’ve taken in a more creative / ~aesthetic~ way than the usual Japan travel vlogs / videos. I might include some Hobonichi With Me videos as well towards the end.. or not. Let’s see, haha!
VIDEO: Traveling Around Japan For 9 Days – Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, & Fukuoka!
At the same time, I’m also working on layouting chosen photos for my blog.
Many are asking about my itinerary so will post about that (hopefully) soon! 🙂
