“Fuchiko On The Cup” Exhibition in Parco Urawa

Hello everyone!

I just want to share some photos I took during a mini exhibition in Parco Urawa. I was so surprised that “Fuchiko” would have an exhibit in our area, considering that it’s not Tokyo-based, hehe! : )

I’m doing my best to finish OurKawaii.Tokyo book layout + JLM Store this week. Wish me luck with all the craziness haha.

Enjoy the Fuchiko photos below then~!

The cuteness of “Cup no Fuchiko” is manifested when she is placed on a cup. She can sit quietly, try to climb the cup with all her strength, or hang from the cup as if she is exhausted. Looking at her just naturally soothes your heart.
“Cup no Fuchiko” was planned and designed by manga artist Katsuki Tanaka. She was born into the world as a capsule toy, and in the blink of an eye, she became a big hit with 1.3 million being sold. It seems there are many in Japan who want to be soothed by this tiny girl.

#GIRLBOSS + Toy Sapiens Store in Harajuku + SKOSHBOX Preview

Good morning everyone!

Thought I’d share some kawaii photos I snapped (yay iPhone convenience) from last week and share tidbits about my random discoveries here. : )

Also, to those who have already submitted their answers for the Rainbowholic Blog Survey, THANK YOU, THANK YOU so much! Didn’t expect that the response would be so overwhelming for me! ;__; To those who haven’t, please do so~ because I really need feedback about this blog since I’m trying my best to take it to the next level. ^_^

Let’s start ~ !  :3star:

#GIRLBOSS by Nasty Gal CEO Sophia Amoruso

I’m currently enjoying this #GIRLBOSS book by Sophia Amoruso, the founder and CEO of Nasty Gal. <3

I haven’t finished it yet but I will try today! : ) If you are a super girl who aspires to be a CEO / successful entrepreneur someday, I think that Sophia’s insights will open your mind more. I am not really a hardcore feminist in such sense, but I have huge respect for women who run the world confidently, hehe!

“A #GIRLBOSS is someone who’s in charge of her own life. She gets what she wants because she works for it. As a #GIRLBOSS, you take control and accept responsibility. You’re a fighter – you know when to throw punches and when to roll with them. Sometimes you break the rules, sometimes you follow them, but always on your own terms. You know where you’re going, but can’t do it without having some fun along the way. You value honesty over perfection. You ask questions. You take life seriously, but you don’t take yourself too seriously. You’re going to take over the world, and change it in the process. You’re a badass.” — Sophia Amoruso

 Dreamy Nile Perch

Was walking around Harajuku and chanced upon the Nile Perch store. I think any Kawaii Girl would stop and take a photo of their store banner.

Or is it just me? Hahaha!

 Soy + Matcha

OMG, I don’t know why I just discovered this HEAVENLY drink from kikkoman! Soy + Matcha?! That’s the best of both worlds!

Bought this from Daimaru from Parco Urawa.

Hongkong Kawaii Adventure with Anne + Kyary Pamyu Pamyu World Tour 2014

Last week, my Kawaii.PH co-founder Anne and I traveled to Hongkong to accomplish our first overseas work.

Since many Filipinos find Hongkong their favorite place to travel and shop, we thought of making a “Kawaii HK Travel Guide” by compiling our own kawaii discoveries during our quick trip. We also went and cheered for Kyary.. and represented the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu PH community in showing support to the Kawaii Queen herself. ^_^

Personally, I feel that HK has the “Japan vibe” and I’m sure many Japanese kawaii lovers would enjoy this country. Almost all snacks in their convenience stores are from Japan! :O

Happy feet!

It was a dream come true for Anne to watch a KPP concert! *happy mom-like mode haha*

And because luck loved us, we got snapped by the press people / official photographers!

Never thought that the official KPP fanpage on facebook + a news website from HK would upload our pics…! @_@
