It has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride in school and I’m enjoying every moment of it. The stress and pressure are both indescribable but it’s all worth it. My organization is getting recognized in a very positive way. And I’m proud to say that I am the head of the Creative team.

Yesterday, we had a presentation in one of my majors (and it’s only second week of the school). Our theme was Lady Gaga so we dressed up like her.

Well anyway, ’nuff of that. I just want to express my happiness about being a college senior.. at last! I’m 19 (still NBSB and currently stalking.. haha I kid).. and a quite number of months from now, I’ll be twenty. Time always catches me offhandedly! I’m really ecstatic that this would be my last year and I’m off to enjoy REAL LIFE / THE TIME OF MY LIFE but deep inside me, I know that a year would come by real fast and I’d be saying- “I miss my old life back in college.” I only have two academic terms (approx 3 months per term) and an OJT+THESIS term left. A year could be a breeze but I do hope that I’d go with the flow pretty well.

Oh btw, I recently had a “lucky bitch fan” moment with one of my favorite Korean idols, *confetti* Brian Joo*confetti*.I was writing this email at around 3AM.. and I just crossed my fingers. I did not expect him to reply, I just hoped (and prayed hard) and he did. He’s just the coolest.

My cousin (who’s almost like a brother to me) also got a pair of Jeremy sneaks. Lucky! I was the one who practically begged my brother for a pair.. Turns out my brother (who just came back from Japan last week and will be leaving tomorrow) also bought two versions of this (white and gold) a long time ago. The rainbow version’s really rare so he searched and searched.. and found the last pair. I am loved.

My brother who’s living in Japan (a.k.a. having the best life one could ever have) just got back home. It was extremely hot earlier in the airport.

I once again felt being bribed. He got me my dream rainbow shoes, a pristine white samantha vega bag, wa-lolita and maid costume, a few Jap magazines, and web/design-related books. I can’t wait to wear my rare Jeremy Scott sneaks!

Gotta work harder now.

Been itching to do artsy stuff but I couldn’t since I had to concentrate on my final requirements. I am so relieved that everything school-related is over now. I officially have a year to go before I graduate.

ANYWAY-

Call me crazy or whatnot, but I want to try having my hair dyed blonde. So sad that my university has a dress code I must follow. I’ll just probably have my hair dyed with caramel brown again. People say that color suits me best.

Ever since I got my electric sewing machine, I have been wanting to sew a dress on my own. It was a dream I once thought impossible. I never had formal sewing / pattern-making classes except for the home economics subject I had in highschool. I guess sewing a simple chemise and jeans back in elementary and highschool was useful.

After my mom saw my creation (not the past remake ones), she suggested I should take pattern-making classes. IDK, I have too many things to do this summer. And besides, I like experimenting and discovering things on my own. Like how I learned webpage design, photoshop, and photography.

This lolita dress outfit took me 2 zombie days. I didn’t have a design in mind, I just.. did all these on the spot. Thanks Japanese magazines for inspirations. And the web for tips and tutorials!

INDEED, LIFE COULDN’T GET BETTER (non-suju fans wouldn’t get this).

I have never ever thought that a night like yesterday would happen.

Let me share you a little background of my suju fangirlism.

I discovered SUJU way back in my senior year in highschool. Those were there “U” (a.k.a. blinding pelvic thrusts) days. Korean boy bands were ignored during that era and only a few could appreciate them without comparing them to F4 / mocking them to be “plain pretty boys”. I remember sharing SUJU with my highschool friends and they were just indifferent about it. I mean, 13 members in ONE boy band does sound… incredulous, right? At first, I didn’t believe it and I was just into DBSK (not a major fan though.. just a fan-fan). I remember a funny comment from a friend. She thought Super Junior was a choir. Cannot blame her though.

I remember watching FULL HOUSE  episodes before going to school (as early as 5AM while waiting for my bus). The EHB (Explorers of the Human Body) days were as hilarious as FULL house. Oh man, I want to watch those vids again. Screw youtube for degrading the quality of the old uploaded videos. :(

Anyway, that was my SUJU fangirlism. It’s just sad sometimes because I cannot share these with my friends. We have totally different tastes when it comes to music / style in general. And, I don’t want to force them to like what I like because they end up mocking me, which I really hate. So there. Nobody can stop me from going crazy / spazzing over pretty Korean boys. :P

School. It’s already the last week of classes. My campaign groupmates and I were productive last thursday night (and friday) so I was kind of free yesterday. I just woke up early and decided that I must witness HEAVEN in Araneta. I called ticketnet and asked how many tickets were still for sale, and thank God, there were still a lot.

I got to Araneta Coliseum at around noon. Luckily, there were still SVIP tickets available. Actually, I didn’t really plan to get the most expensive ticket (which assures you to see suju members from an approx. 1.5-meter distance)… but because God made things work perfectly for me, I bought that golden ticket. I was planning to pay my electric bill before going to Araneta but the admin people were not there… YAYYYYYYYYY. And yes, I decided impulsively.

As you can tell, I just went to the concert alone. I fell in line at 1PM (gates opened at 5:30pm) and made new friends. I saw some highschool friends as well. My college friends, Alex and Tricia (together with her sister and friend), came late so we were not together during the long hours of agony.

I can still vividly remember when Donghae teared up a little. He must be so touched. Also, he was so niceeee. A fan requested a polaroid photo of him and he gladly took a photo of himself with it. When towels were being thrown towards him, he’d wipe off his sweat with those holy objects and throw the holy objects back.

At the end of the concert, they were just playing around with waterguns. Eunhyukkieee was feeling sick that day (I could tell) because he was gesturing to the fans to not shoot him with the watergun.

It was so sad that it ended so soon. I loved it when they bowed in front of the fans. Kyuhyun stayed in that position for a minute or so. It was so touching that I cried. It was too heavenly. Surreal. Unbelievable. SLAP ME TO REALITY I BEG OF YOU

After the concert, I immediately hydrated myself with iced tea from Goto King. When my parents came to fetch me, as soon as I entered the car, I couldn’t contain myself and I crieeeeeeedddddddddd so hard. The whole experience was overwhelming. It was my first time to cry just because of extreme happiness. Tears of joy cannot even explain it.. more of  “cry of joy”.

I can’t seem to be productive during this Holy Week break. This is what I don’t like about myself– my inconsistency. ENDDDDD of Part II!

Actually, I was even hesitant to go with her even on the day before our departure to Macau. School + Org work were just too much that I wanted to stay and just finish my responsibilities here first. Of course, I just couldn’t back out just like that so I left with a very heavy feeling of worry / anxiousness / blah. I thought I wouldn’t enjoy Macau but I was wrong. Mom told me to just forget everything first and just relax. Macau was everything I needed- a breather.

Still, there were times that I’d just space out.. OUT OF WORRY again during our tours. How could I not worry if I had:

1. an Ad campaign for ADWRITE (a major course) to lead and work on with my groupmates
2. a required overnight fieldtrip to attend for ADRAPHO (also as important as ADWRITE) 2 days after Macau
3. design materials to arrange for my org’s year end party

For the ad campaign, my groupmates and I had to present our campaign for Army Navy (Burger + Burrito) on March 23rd. My Macau vacation was from March 14-17. The Corregidor / ADRAPHO fieldtrip was from March 20-21. Imagine how I would incessantly worry about the conflicting schedules during my Macau stay. Fortunately, I was still able to attend the ADRAPHO fieldtrip to Corregidor (for our HDR session) though my body and brain were already betraying me. Preparing for an advertising campaign with randomly selected groupmates requires lots of meetings, brainstorming and sleepovers. With so much little time left, it was a miracle that we were still able to do it. My group got a 96 (minus 9 because of presentation mistakes) in our campaign and as the leader, it was something to be really proud of. My disorientedness ever since I got back from Macau was something not to be proud of though.

K, enough of stress stuff.

MACAU DAY 1 (Departure) – March 14, 2010, Sunday

Left at around 7PM via Cebu Pacific. Arrived at 10PM in Macau. Foggy Macau welcomed us.
