♥日本語で上手になった!できた!♥

Yesterday was my official last day in Bunka Institute of Language. It was our graduation.   :fly:

I went to Japan to study Japanese in this school. It was a year of almost giving up, failures, worries, conflicts…

But those did not matter. I chose to stay… to prove to myself that I can be good at this. That I am no quitter.

6 months ago, I took a very important achievement test that I was preparing for a week.

I guess it was too late for me, I was such a bad student before as well..

  :sigh:

It was a blow for me when one of the teachers told me that I had to repeat everything that I have studied when I got here.

I was almost there, about to say- “I won’t continue this anymore.”  :tsk:

  :3:

I’m glad I didn’t.

Being the only Filipino in campus was hard.. but the challenge was bearable.

I have realized that doing something for the second time is not an embarrassing move but rather, a very humbling experience.

I have no regrets of studying again everything from the very start because I know that this time—- I finished it right.

Monkey Majik – Tada Arigatou (ただ、ありがとう)!

This is our small bakery at school. I have survived mornings with their delicious pans and nikumans. I am going to miss the nicest people here.

I came early for our graduation practice so I decided to walk around the campus.. very nostalgic for some reason.

Where I study & hang out by myself every morning. This place is very calming for me.

Our cute little bookstore with all the fashion magazines a girl would love!

Illustration, patterns, profiles, everything. Here.

Where my Chinese friends and I eat when it’s lunch. I’ll miss the 100 yen food here!

I used to study a lot in this place as well. Bunka’s extensive library. Free magazine viewing of all fashion magazines!

Small exhibit of students’ best works. Amazing.

My last cream pan from the bakery for my lunch.

Here’s a little gift to me, from me! The cutest book ever! I got a free bag as well! Happiness level x 1000% caused by getting free stuff : )

What I will be doing for the spring & summer season. Once my hobby room is fixed!

This shall keep me sane from the work I will be doing next week!

After eating lunch in the classroom, I just took photos before the graduation at 1PM starts.

文化外国語専門学校卒業式

*heaves a euphoric sigh of relief*

Stared at this for a long time. I couldn’t believe I DID IT!

The day has come!

Participating countries from all over the world.

Beautiful & handsome batchmates in Kimono!

皆さん、ありがとうございます!

ただ、ありがとう。

Kariya-sensei & Dawa + Shouro being so lady-like!

:333:

I’ll miss seing these people. Keep in touch, ne!

After my graduation, I met up with my brother & ate Claire for our mini celebration! I brought a very good news with me as well so the celebration was .. better?? Haha

First Kitchen, Purikura & Forever21 Haul!!

My family here in Japan.

My Second Diploma

When we met for the last time in our class, my teacher handed me the most surprising thing ever!

In order to get a diploma, your attendance should be 90%+++..

My attendance for the first half was already 83%.. because I went back home for my university graduation + got two of my molars extracted + Disney sea! : ))

I really thought that I was not a candidate for getting a Diploma! But here it is!!!

My before & after grades. I kept my shitty transcript before so I will be more motivated to study harder!

I’ll take a break from Nihongo for now… I’ll see you again when I retake my JLPT N3 test this June/July!

My books

Practice notebook before kanji quizzes

I TOOK IT SERIOUSLY ;_________;

What a “slap-in-the-face” shitty grades could do to someone like me. I even used stick-on bookmarks!

Because the second time is always sweeter.

My buddies during train rides.

Before I end this entry, I would like to thank my brother who sponsored me for my Japanese language school. Ironically, he has been using reverse psychology to get me work!

He was the one who kept on encouraging me to stop school (along with the devil Kaila).. but I guess the moment when I showed my diploma to him was equivalent to a bitch slap as well,  right? : )))

ありがとう!

じゃ、あたしはこれからももっとがんばりましょう!

  3. 😥 Reading this made me want to cry, not from sadness, but from happiness. I’m so happy for you! So proud! This shows that working hard always pays off in the end. You inspire me so much, Kaila! So young, and yet, you are paving the way for yourself. No, you are bulldozing and make an entire lot for yourself! Many many congratulations and happy prayers for your future. This chapter ends, but another begins. I’m excited to see you go beyond the clouds  :yay:
