11 yr. old Kaila’s Diary (“Reading Journal”)

Ohayou from Japan!

For today, I'd like to share some pages from my "reading journal" when I was 11. Actually, this was a requirement in our Reading subject in class when I was in elementary, haha. I really enjoyed "manually blogging" that time! And omg, my grammar = superb! :))

80% of boys who think they're cute really are.... not!

"I'm the kind of person who is humble to others" (how ironic hahahaha)

"I was cute as you see it." :))) #HowToBeHumble

You'll miss that one!!

My simple joys before = being able to save up for Comic Alley (an anime merch store) and buy CCS / Fushigi laminated cards (for 20 PHP each)!! :))

..

....

I'm planning to write on my new journal starting this holiday season. I really enjoy reading about myself and the stuff that I used to care about (and up to now) from decades ago hahaha.

How about you, did you also keep a diary with you when you were younger? :D

Much love,

カイラ

  1. OMG! I did have journal while I was 10 or 11 years old as well!! I am totally immersed with the world of anime too! My first love towards anime is Sailormoon which was shown in a KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) Hours slot at my local tv (^-^). I am a night person. I hate to wake up early in the morning. But since Sailormoon shows at 9 am, every Sunday I am automatically will be wake up around 8.30 or 8.45 am without the help of the alarm clock…EVERY SUNDAY, never fails…Even my mom really surprise of how my biological clock works out…Selective wake up mode…Hahaha…

Oh dear.. too bad I am not sure where did I put my journal…I can remember very clearly that I have paste hundreds of stickers of Sailormoon inside that journal…My favourite is Sailormercury (Ami Mizuno) Since I always move from one house to another, I guess it get lost in that process…*sigh*

And at the age of 14 or 15, I have another journal which is my current obsession at that time is Cardcaptor Sakura and I buy 1 very cheap book with Sakura rollerblading with Tomoyo on the cover. Pretty lucky I manage to find that book in the cheap price and it become my second journal. Unfortunately, this journal MIA as well when our family moved again.

I think I want to start manually jotting down again my memory in 2017. It feels better when reading what you write with your own handwriting compared to written on online blog. Because manual journal, I think I can write anything that I am not able to share with the world…My thought, feelings because I totally believe that human have 3 face… First face to show to world, second face to show to your close friends and family while the third face that never show anyone…So, manually writing diary will show me the truest reflection of who you are and I believe it will help me to grow up and learn to be a better person.

Thank you for sharing this awesome journal. Thanks for always inspiring me directly and indirectly.

You have come so far and you have done a great job. Keep up inspiring people like me, Kaila!!! *pat at your head*

Thank you for growing up beautifully. You are so beautiful, inside and outside (^-^)

So much love and care from Malaysia,

    Hanna (^-^)

  2. Awww your diary was way too cute and colourful! <3 Lol I remember I used to keep this pocket diary when I was 8 or so and I used to write down ''Important events of the day'' like how you would write a play (With characters & lines and stuff lololol) ,Important events being stuff like this kid being sent out of the class and punished by the teacher & stuff (wha-? xD)
I can't find it anywhere now tho :/ I also kept a diary when I was 12 but I ended up throwing it away (way too depressing lol #emololololol) I also keep a diary now which has less of events and more of thoughts :P I guess as you grow older what you consider as ''Important stuff of the day'' (lololol) changes xD
