Okay let’s move on :))
Last Saturday, I met up with my long-lost older sister (Onee-san), Yumi-san at Ouji!
We decided to meet at the Ouji Station platform. I took some photos while waiting ~
I will visit this again during Spring. I remember riding the Kehin Tohoku line and I got surprised by a row of cherry blossom trees!
(Those trees you are seeing in the photo are Sakura trees.. I believe.)
We roamed around Ouji to find the “Kirara Cafe” that Yumi-san discovered from a website. When we got there, it was closed :))
We decided to just walk around and enjoy the neighborhood together as we search for another cafe, hehe!
Thank you Yumi Nee-san for these photos! I look super happy in these, hehe!
We rode the tram together, btw!
We decided to just hang out at a Starbucks branch in Ouji. We talked about our plans for an Our Kawaii Tokyo-related project coming this Spring! Thank you Yumi Nee-san for believing with me in this project!

After our meeting, I went straight to Harajuku to meet up with my bestie, Leen!
We had tacos and other spicy yumminess at a Mexican restaurant. As usual, our food went cold because we couldn’t stop sharing stories and talking, lol! When we were about to leave… LEEN GAVE ME A SURPRISE ;_;
Copy-pasting this text / post I wrote on my personal FB:
Today felt like my birthday, thanks to my bestie Leen (who will be leaving soon for Italy to chase her dreams ;___; but she’ll come back to Japan because of me hehehe)!
We had yummy tacos in a Mexican restaurant and talked for 2 hours or so. When I came back from the restroom, I was so surprised! :(( There was a slice of cake with a sparkler + candle waiting for me. I cannot remember the last time somebody would go all the way to do that for me (and make my jaw drop). I got teary-eyed and I tried my best not to spoil the moment by my ugly crying haha (I did a great job!) Thank you Leen for remembering and for the very thoughtful birthday gifts / surprise :(( Thank you Uncle & Auntie Dewantari)
I thank all the gods (and my very studious self lol) for making me fail my first big test at BIL / language school because if I didn’t fail, I wouldn’t be able to meet you and we wouldn’t be the best of friends here in Japan. It’s quite nostalgic and sad to think that years have gone by so fast and you’re going to graduate univ soon. Seasons may change, we’ll probably see each other after a very long time again, we’ll have our own share of rollercoaster rides but I will always look forward to the day we just meet at a cafe, eat, and talk for hours nonstop. And I’m going to ask you again all the deep questions that you love answering :)) And I’m going to hit you on your arm because I can’t stop laughing :))
I’m so mushy as a friend but I’m just really thankful to meet & get to know someone who would unconditionally support me / support my craziness. Years later, here we are.. and still crazily doing our best ありがとうリンタン！Japan & I will be eagerly waiting for your grand comeback! I’m your biggest supporter next to your family hehehehe
My bestfriend is the sweetest, huhu! And omg, a Samantha Thavasa bag! MY HEART!
And before I end this post, here’s some news from Kawaii PH Store!
We’ll be having another Garage Sale at our Kawaii PH HQ! Please click this link for more info! ^_^
Thank you for reading!
