Aside from toys and books that you can donate to “Play, Learn and Serve” children, items related to personal hygiene for kids are preferred. Most of the children go to public school and they lack school supplies like quality pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, school bag, shoes, clothes, umbrella, and the like. Items they could use in school will be very much appreciated. If you can bring kawaii & quality school materials, that would be wonderful!
Let us give some kawaii love this gift-giving season by sharing our own blessings with the ones who need them the most. Let us empower others through kawaii!
Play, Learn and Serve serves is a flagship program of a non-profit organization called “Child and Family Life Enrichment Center”. It serves as a community outreach program providing culturally appropriate services for the less fortunate children who spend most of their time in the street.
The primary goal is to provide an access to the marginalized children an equal opportunity to learn the essential human competencies such as personality development, critical thinking and creativity, management-mindedness, social and environmental awareness, and most importantly practical Christianity.
Through the progressive way of teaching, Play, Learn and Serve program implements values-centered modules to nurture the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of the developing child. We carefully develop program that would creatively instil in the children the essential values we believe they need to grasp in preparation for a fulfilling future.

Design Festa Volume 42 (Support Little Inkplay Shop!)
During the afternoon, I went straight to Tokyo Big Sight to give my all-out support to my friend and client, Imani of Little Inkplay Shop! I’m so PROUD of her!
I also met up with a long-term reader turned online friend turned RL friend, Jospehine of Frilly Pink Dreams!
That smilee! 😀
The concept of Little INKPLAY Shop is to be an empowering private tattoo studio and kawaii culture hub. With a two fold purpose of tattooing/ kawaii-art showcase and kawaii empowerment/ community outreach program (#KAWAIIindaHood), this space will be available to create & explore our individual Kawaii equations, together!
If it feels good, I encourage you to #supportLIPS and get involved!
The three of us walked around Design Festa and got mesmerized by the work of these talented artists!
How cool is this??
Thank you Japan for always reminding us that we need ART in life. It was a refreshing feeling to be surrounded by all these insanely creative people!
