Pompompurin Cafe curry, my absolute fave!
Starbucks weekend with friends : )
Received a super adorable New Year’s card from the creative duo Lando & Allie. They made this! *_*

My favorite couple, Lando & Allie!
Thank you so much Laura for bringing us here!
With pretty Laura!
Saw a really cute cafe while we were searching for another cafe. Sadly, it was too small for us! Haha.
I can’t remember how many umbrellas I bought on impulse last year. Haha!
Creepy / abandoned apartment / building we found! *_*
The golden leaves ~
Spent the rest of the afternoon at NOZY Coffee.
My friends have amazing shoes haha
We attempted to get a pretty shot from outside. :))
YAY SOCIAL LIFE :))
Allie’s pretty small hand :))
In comparison hahaha
We were conversing the whole day that we didn’t notice it was getting dark already.. :))
Thanks for the great time, friends! See you next time for another round of pancakes! ^^
The Dream Harajuku Date with Celina!
I had an unforgettable day with Celina last December! We experienced a “golden snow” while we were walking along the streets of Harajuku. The ginkgo tree leaves were falling as we were strolling around… ;_; it was so DREAMY!
Super happy for Celina that day! I know how it feels to have “go to Japan” as one of your childhood dreams.. :”)
*cue tears here*
Tried out this Barbie-inspired / Peco purikura!
OUR EYES lolol
Went to SWIMMER after ~
Such a cute bag!
We had brunch at Pompompurin Cafe at Cube Harajuku.
Christmas menu special!
She gave me this handmade / crocheted beret! SHE MADE IT by hand. I mean.. HOW?!
She also knitted this pastel rainbow beanie! OMG!
This talent ;_;
We were in a super cute place while we talked about life (and we were in a very serious mood) omg :))
Left: Our “purikura” / photobooth sticker taken at Timezone BGC (when we first met each other, and she was still in HIGHSCHOOL omg)..
Right: Years later… in HARAJUKU. ;_;
*sobs with Celina*
Couldn’t stop taking photos together :))
*STAGE MOM MODE*
Kaila all the time: “OK GO POSE THERE!!”
“Layo pa ng kaunti, di kasya sa frame.” :))
Now is forever <3
Took some #OOTD photos for her :))
After our mini photoshoot session, we went to Kiddyland and she went crazy over all the kawaii stuff there. :))
Sadly, I had another agenda that day and I had to run to Shinjuku after our date because of my bestfriend’s play at Bunka!
Reminiscing My Language School Student Days + Leen’s Play
Shinjuku, it’s been a while!
You surely became more kawaii with these traffic cones!
This was my everyday sight when I went to school every morning years ago.
The golden trees were so beautiful that day.
Puss in Boots play starring my bestfriend, Leen!
I was supposed to come with Gilbert but he came so late.. so I proceeded first.
Huhuhu, I missed you, BIL!
This was my home for a year when I first moved to Japan.
It’s so weird that my bestfriend Leen (who is a Bunka University student.. and about to graduate soon) and I used to fall in line to watch for the play here.
That time, I was falling in line because I was going to watch her performance! ;_;
I couldn’t take lots of photos but the one in maroon is Leen!!
It was such a beautiful play x fashion show performance! Super unbelievable! Leen told me that it took about a year to prepare everything!
It was all students’ work! *_*
I took a super smiley selfie with her parents who came all the way from Indonesia! Hello Auntie and Uncle! I’m so proud of your daughter!!
After that, we decided to meet up at the “Small Canteen” (wrong photo though lolol)
Bunka Gakuen Shop.. where my money used to disappear for many times before lol
My fab bestfriend!!
I used to go here every 8:00 in the morning to eat quick breakfast (just some bread) + study for the kanji / nihongo tests!
I missed these vending machines huhuhuhuhu
Entering Bunka Fashion College / University (for masters) was actually my dream before but I pursued another. I decided to get started with real world by building my own “brand” / “identity” online and by starting communities in the web (Japan Lover Me / Kawaii Philippines). And of course, I think that I would have to save up for a lot of years if I wanted to study again (the tuition fee in Bunka makes me feel dizzy lol).
Being able to see / witness my bestfriend Leen go passionately after her fashion dreams also makes me feel like my Bunka dream has been realized through her achievements. I’m so, so proud of this girl! :”) It’s not that easy to be the only “gaijin” or international student most of the time but she survived everything. Whenever we’d meet up, she would narrate to me all these awesome experiences she’s had so far as a student! If only she could blog everything that she’d tell me, I think that her blog would be an instant hit!
This year, she will be graduating already and.. I would have to admit, that’s kind of bittersweet for me. Can’t believe how fast time flies! We were just dreamers before struggling to make our name in Japan and years later, we’ve achieved most of our dreams in different circumstances. I wouldn’t be able to accomplish those if it were not also for my bestfriend’s cheers and support! She was my confidant before when me and my friends had this crazy idea about spreading “kawaii” in the Philippines! 🙂
So many warm and fuzzy feelings after that day. So many dreams realized!
She gave me this magazine after the play. I decided to sit down and relax at Krispy Kreme Shinjuku before going home.
Couldn’t stop smiling that day!
That’s my bestfriend! 😉
Forgive the shameless selfie but I really wanted to have a photo with “bokeh lights” behind me because of the lights illumination all over Shinjuku that day. Hehe!
And after being mesmerized by the illumination, I went home like a smiling idiot. Haha! 😀
Hope you enjoyed this super kawaii photo spam + narration!
Lots of love,
