Rainbowholic for Artwine’s Cutebook 2013

Around 1-2 months ago, I was invited by Beam (the designer & chief crafter) to collaborate with her super colorful brand, Artwine!

I never thought I’d appear as a cover of any kind of book.. *_* So thank you for this wonderful / colorful opportunity, Beam!

We got to know each other because of mutual friends (through the introduction of Gel of Hodge Podge + Justin)..

.. and she also did a food styling gig for my friend Carla’s yummy cookie business (#loveagnessi!)~

What a smaaall, small creative world!  :blank:

I give my 100% support to Artwine not only because the products are of quality + super cute (and locally made!) but also because this business provides employment for many out of school youth and jobless moms here in Manila.

Creativity + Business fueled by passion + Cause = Best combination!

Look at these handmade felt goodies! The quality is A++++ by the way…! Each one is handmade with love!

I was the model / stylist / make-up artist that day! :what:

It was tiring + I was super nervous about the results but Sir Louie (who photographs for Summit Media!) and Beam were so.. energetic & cheerful to work with. It didn’t feel like work!

Check out Artwine’s updates through their facebook / instagram! : )

At this rate, I might just go broke patronising all the shops you write about in your blog LOL But they’re all so good and tempting *A*

    With love,

  2. Wow Kaila this is great! I ‘m already super proud of you for everything you do, but this really made my day. It’s nice to see companies that are doing something about the not so happy side of Manilla :hihihi: anyway, congratulations and thank you for sharing!
