Summer heat, unlimited milk teas, stationery loots, streets of Taipei, moody weather, lanterns, delicious street food, old friends… and my Fujicolor disposable film camera.
I can still vividly remember all the memories from this trip. I hope that you could also feel the raw happiness, warmth of friendship, and the sense of discovery I both felt & had during those time through my photos below. : )
Thinking of getting a real film / vintage camera these days. For some reason, there’s this certain charm in analog. I have been blogging “manually” through my hobonichi diary for months and it has brought me with so much joy. I think that it’s about time to go back where I initially started to practice my love for photography (I started with film before ^^). No VSCO filter / any photo editing app can ever replace the excitement feeling that film does to me. : )
Jiufen and its vibrant reds
Street food I couldn’t resist
Can still remember how I was so thankful for this moment.
To be in a wonderful place with friends I rarely see (maybe twice or thrice a year) was such a blessing.
It’s as if we never grow old. We still laugh over the same jokes : )
Lush green trees
9AM call time for everybody
(thanks Pat for this photo btw 😉 )
The zoo where we had a crazy trekking experience
Being goofballs inside the train
Some of us would freak out whenever we’d pass by a stationery store
Probably one of the best things that ever happened to me back in college:
To meet this bunch
Taiwan really has the best milk teas. And I would go back just to have a food trip here 🙂
It also feels like home because you can feel the strong Japanese culture influence everywhere
Don’t forget me yet, Taiwan. I will be back 🙂
