Thank you for taking time to load all photos from this heavy set! It’s been weeks since I have conceptualized for this shoot. All photos were taken by my brother, Kuya Eric.

I’ve always had interest in anything conceptual when photography naturally became a hobby for me. If you’ve known me before (16 yr. old Kaila~), you’d probably remember my self-timer shots from my room / anywhere I feel comfortable and edit those out to form diptychs of different sorts. Actually, I’ve tried to be serious in the whole shoot with my brother but the natural smiling / wacky me just had to come out once in a while.

 

Today’s shoot was perfect. It was something that I thought of months ago and I was just then collecting photoshoot-worthy props. The clear plastic umbrella that I bought in Shibuya last week for the Halloween night was just an unexpected addition. Just timely for the comforting drizzle earlier in the park! Plus, the change of colors of the leaves added emotions to my photos. Funny how sometimes I think too deeply! I don’t know why but even an effortlessly taken photo for me could mean so much. It’s probably just me, teehee.

I wanted to have a separate shoot for my Blythe (because of her new dress!) but I thought she would be an interesting extra for this explorer-themed photospam.
