This post has been in my drafts for such a long time! I really need to post thisss or else I will forever feel unproductive, haha!
Here are the photos I took with my iPhone during my very spontaneous Kyoto trip before I went back to the Philippines.
It was a trip that I really needed to, because I would almost go crazy & insane.
I went only by myself, with just a few tips on where to go from my brother (who used to be an exchange student there). I didn’t have any fixed plans..
…. I just wanted to breathe and escape from the stress for a week, haha.
When I first came to Kyoto with Kuya Eric when we went backpacking (3 years ago?), I was so enchanted by the place.
It was my instant favorite! It felt like it is the best place for a person like me who loves exploring a lot on her own.
Actually… that time, I just successfully passed the driving license exam (second take! huhu) and the preparations just to pass the practical exam was so stressful that I would cry out of frustration huhu!
My cousin Gilbert and I practiced with Kuya for a month!
I actually don’t drive a lot and I prefer walking (because exercise, haha) and I feel guilty to use up a lot of gas. But during that time, for me to be able to go back to Manila as fast as I could, I had to pass that test! HUHU
Andddddddd luckily, for some kind of magic, I passed itttttt and I hurriedly made arrangements for my Kyoto trip!
I think I will go back first to Kyoto, before Tokyo, haha!
I didn’t bring a lot of clothes with me, I just brought the whole documentation gear haha!
The Kyoto trip inspired and gave me energy in so many levels. It felt like a recollection / retreat trip!
I had so many ideas that I just had to write down.. and the notes above were just some of those, hehe.
I will not give up on this, haha! I shall complete this blog series!! *FIGHT*

I actually left my bag inside the bus containing my go pro and other necessities @_@
I quickly called my brother (all the way from Saitama) to help me trace my bag… AND WE DID!
At 11:30 PM, my brother called me to run and get a taxi for me to claim my bag! The officer was about to leave by 12 MN so imagine how fast I ran…
I was that crazy foreigner running in her pajamas… in Kyoto hahaha
Because of Ashley’s book, I was able to confirm that the bag is truly mine!!! HUHUHU THANK YOU
You know your trip is going to be hella adventurous when you’ve already ran outside in your pajamas, became a Japanese maiko for a few hours, and explored Kyoto and road a boat for unwinding…
Hahaha, my trips are always so random, and I love it!
