Before I go and post photospammed entries of my recent travel..

I would just like to announce to the world that…

The first leg (Singapore) of Rainbowholic’s Kawaii Adventure this 2014 was made possible by 5footway.inn Hostel!

*applause*  :cute2:

About 5footway.inn Hostel | Facebook Page

The shophouse, with its five-foot-wide walkway, embodies both an appreciation for the Southeast Asian climate as well as the desire to enable and encourage community spirit through daily close interaction.

Opened in September 2011, 5footway.inn was started with a simple hypothesis; accessibility, style, good taste and top-rate facilities do not have to cost a fortune. To date, it has a chain of 4 boutique hostels located in the Chinatown, Boat Quay and Arab Street vicinity, to cater to the modern traveller, young executive and families who would like the experience of community-living while maintaining a sense of privacy and comfort, at rates that do not hurt the pocket.

As I’ve mentioned before, I stayed at Project Chinatown 2 branch!

I arrived at around noon. I left my luggage and roamed around to kill time until 3PM!  :pink:

What I love most about the hostel is that…

… it’s super accessible / easy to locate for a first-timer! ヽ( ★ω★)ノ

The must-go places in every SG tour guide book are just around the area as well so.. bonus points! 🙂

Cool interiors you wouldn’t miss.

Actually, my room was good for three..

Me, my bags, and my other stuff to be organized. :)))

Well-prepared hostel room, yay!

(I stayed in a hostel in Hongkong before.. and it was ;____;)

And there’s a huge mirror, which adds more points to the rating tally, haha!

Feeling freshhh after turning on the aircon!! Happy traveler me~ <3

Some of my necessities in life. Hehehe~

I love the fact that they showcase cool & colorful artworks too!

Shared bathroom stalls for the ladies~

You can also iron your clothes! 🙂

They provide free breakfast! I only got to try the free breakfast once though.

Again, I love the choice of paintings!

Cofffeeee <3

Good morning to me, haha.

Security  😀

I would say that I definitely had a pleasant experience staying in this hostel. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Thank you 5footway.inn for the memorable stay! о(ж>▽<)y ☆

5footway.inn Project Chinatown 1!

As I was exploring Chinatown, I somehow landed @  5Footway.inn’s Project Chinatown 1 branch!

Let the photos do the describing~

Just in time for Chinese New Year, make sure you book your stay with 5footway.inn for your own convenience to witness Chinatown in its red glory!

Bugis Street: The Largest Street Shopping in Singapore

In my opinion, I think that Bugis could be Singapore’s own version of Harajuku (Takeshita Dori) because of the kawaii + affordable offerings!

Read the interesting history of Bugis here.

Saw a girl with a cottoncandy blue-colored balloon~ :O

WOOOO a fantastic year ahead!

(we don’t have these flavors here in the Philippines!!)

Searching for the balloons that I saw~

And finally saw the source of the balloons haha! They were giving out balloons.

I’d love to become a student again. : )

Walking, walking~

And found it.

Mint Museum of Toys!!

Watch out for my extra special ToyLove blog entry about my museum visit~<3

And there you go~

Hope you enjoyed walking around Bugis + somewhere near Bugis with my photos! I actually snapped more pics, but I’m worried about your scrollbars / internet, haha!

<3, Kaila

  1. I love the chicken art the best!
Line is so big over there that they even have their own candy drops o_o I wish it was like that here!

  2. I never feel like traveling to Singapore ( despite Singapore is just my neighbor country) But when reading your blog, I feel like I should go and experience it myself. (^-^)
Better save a lot starting now…

Thanks for the eye opener, my dear Kaila (^ – ^)
