Rainbowholic TV + Japanese Cooking With Aki?! + Fitness Updates

Hi everybody!

It has been such an eventful week for me even if 80% of the time.. I just stayed at home, lol!

At the start of the week, I gave myself a personal challenge to upload at least one video per day. Not sure which video I will be uploading later but I hope I do get to finish it! crosses fingers

Anyway, here are some snaps from some recent events. Nothing big or super special, just appreciating my surroundings and sharing random things on my blog.

I literally ran when I saw this adorable Tokyo Sakura Tram. It was just around 3 years ago I think when I discovered there were trams in Japan. Lol.

And of course, had to take a snap of this Matcha aulait from Yakult brand. I think that any Filipino who would come across this drink would find this interesting haha!

Spent around 3 hours to film this *part* of my channel trailer. I feel like it’s a final project just like a major subject back in my Advertising management student days lol

Life Lately + Hobonichi Diaries + Kyoto Trip Preview 🍵

Hi everyone!

After long week doing various work, I’m so happy that I finally got the time to post and update this blog!

Ever since 2017 started, a LOT has happened. It’s been such a whirlwind lately but I’m just really grateful that even though it’s been a rough start (work-wise), things seem to be working out for me. I’m getting shocked almost every other day, lol!

Anyway, let me just narrate a few things from notable (and regular) days. ^^

Being able to film during my free time (lunch breaks and mornings before work, haha) is something that I will be always thankful about!

Indeed, if you really want something to kick off, you have to make time for it. This year, I aim Rainbowholic.TV to really grow 🙂

Little by little, I’ll get there. ^^

Such a fine day in Kyoto. Wearing Kimono during my birthday in my most favorite place in the world was the best for me.

Taking days off every year for solo travel really freshens up my spirits.

The little things such as admiring this view while inside the train just make me so giddy like a child. Reminds me of the time I traveled solo to Hokkaido too!

Rented a kimono in Arashiyama (Yume Kyoto Kimono) and chose this adorable design! Simple but kawaii!

Getting surprises and gifts such as this from random strangers (hello, Yume Kyoto Kimono staff!) = aahhhh best feeling!

How many times have I typed “best” / “happy” words here? Haha! I’m running out of synonyms!

Matcha matcha!

I wanted to freeze this moment so bad. So peaceful, serene and perfect. Me and my matcha dessert for breakfast, haha!

Hobonichi Updates + Meeting Annika + My First “Hello” 🌈

Hi everyone!

Finally, I have some time to update and write something personal (scroll down below to the bottom part to read haha). I’ve been waiting for this day since last week, haha! I should be fixing some stuff right now as I’m doing a general apartment cleaning.. but..  that can wait. I really need to unload many thoughts from my brain, haha.

Moreover, I’ve been really busy preparing for JLM-STORE.com-related work and I’m going to announce a very important / special thing soon! So please look forward to it! ; )

Before I write down my thoughts, here are some updates I’ve done in my other social media outlets, haha.

Life Recently + My New Favorite RÅSKOG Utility Cart

Hi everybody!

For a change, I am blogging about my ~current~ events, haha!

Today was my second day at work as a sensei. I really enjoy this baito (part-time)!

Did you know that I’ve always wanted to be a preschool teacher when I was young? I can still remember the days when I would pretend as a teacher in front of my playmates, haha! I’m currently teaching English to Japanese kids (got referred by a friend, so I gave it a try).. I really hope they are learning from me, haha! I’m just a substitute right now but I hope I’ll be considered in the future too! Nevertheless, I am already thankful for this experience. :”)

Moreover, it’s a good break for me from all the managerial duties I’ve been doing for JLM Store. *hooray*

My life has become 100x crazier these months as I have more responsibilities and sacrifices to make (I doubt you guys felt that because of my ~rainbowholic~ happy posts haha). Even with all those, as you can tell, I really try my best to be at my most positive self. I’ve committed to live mindfully and to have a “well-rounded” life that does not only revolve around work (it used to be like that). If I do get sad or my mood turns sour, I would remind myself over and over again this: “Why would you ruin a whole day just for that?”.. and after that, my recently scolded self would smile again, haha. In this lifetime, I am aiming for “balance”. I want to enjoy the good and not-so-good days, to maximize my youthful years by traveling within my means and juggling various work, and to document precious moments while being appreciative of everything. The “me right now” is something that I cannot go back in the future anymore, so might as well live each day with a peaceful and open heart.
