Just sharing some photos from our Gudetama 5th Anniversary experience last weekend at Seibu Ikebukuro. Unfortunately, the museum / gallery was up for limited time and it’s not available anymore. I hope that through this post, you’d also feel that you were there with us, haha!
Lol at the frustrated Gudetama at the back haha
omg my heart.. omg so cute
We actually visited the museum a week before the actual day.. and it wasn’t up by that time yet, lol!
We were sooo excited that day to only find out that we mixed up the dates. Funny times haha
Nevertheless, it was a great experience to try for the second time, haha!
The Gudetama 5th Anniversary Cafe will be up until September so to those who are planning to visit Tokyo / Ikebukuro during this time, do grab the chance! More info here.
I’m very excited to share this post with you because it’s all about these ふわふわ SQUISHIES! Fuwa fuwa means fluffy in Japanese.
Also just to put it out there, I’m fully aware that I’m a 27 yr. old grown woman / adult.. hahaha. I just happen to really love all things kawaii so I don’t mind sharing my child-like hobbies. One of those ~child-like~ hobbies is collecting (hoarding?? lol) kawaii squishies! Click here to view my post before about my squishie haul, haha~!
So when SQUISHY KIOSK emailed me about sending a box of squishies to me, how could I say no?? Haha!
When I first visited their website, I got SHOOKT. The unicorn squishy that I’ve been seeing all over instagram (I do search and explore the #squishy hashtag when I have free time lol).. the rainbowholic in me got so excited!!

The JP post guy tried his best to send it to my place but I couldn’t get the right timing twice (my work has been crazy these weeks). I decided to have it picked up at our city’s post office (there are many ways to have your package redelivered in Japan ^^). That was me being a dedicated squishy lover.
I decided to add the squishies in one of my Hobonichi With Me videos for more ~kawaii visuals~ lol.
Hello rainbow fam!
Last April 1st, we traveled to Yokohama for the Gudetama Festival to celebrate Gudetama’s 5th year anniversary! Aki and I had the best time of our lives, haha!
~ watch the vlog here yay ~
(does anyone know what kind of flower is this?)
What a delightful sight, Gudetama’s butt!
Sharing these photos taken during my first ever Tokyo Stationery Tour with my client, Katy B! Such a memorable day! It felt like I was just showing around a long-time friend around Tokyo to shop for stationery. ^^

We went to Sekaido Shinjuku, IT’S Demo Shibuya, LoFT Shibuya, Tokyu Hands Shibuya, Can Do, and WRAPPLE diy cafe. For a complete version / video guide of kawaii things to do in Shibuya, watch this video Yumi-san & I produced before 🙂
I’ve been having a hard time recently & getting this sweet note from Katy B really cheered me up. Thank you for all of the wonderful gifts & the stories you’ve shared with me! 🙂
