The “Love Box” is now AVAILABLE at Staple and Perk Bakery until December 12, 2015 (the event date itself)!

Aside from toys and books that you can donate to “Play, Learn and Serve” children, items related to personal hygiene for kids are preferred. Most of the children go to public school and they lack school supplies like quality pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, school bag, shoes, clothes, umbrella, and the like. Items they could use in school will be very much appreciated. If you can bring kawaii & quality school materials, that would be wonderful!

Let us give some kawaii love this gift-giving season by sharing our own blessings with the ones who need them the most. Let us empower others through kawaii!

[About Play, Learn, and Serve]

Play, Learn and Serve serves is a flagship program of a non-profit organization called “Child and Family Life Enrichment Center”. It serves as a community outreach program providing culturally appropriate services for the less fortunate children who spend most of their time in the street.

The primary goal is to provide an access to the marginalized children an equal opportunity to learn the essential human competencies such as personality development, critical thinking and creativity, management-mindedness, social and environmental awareness, and most importantly practical Christianity.

Through the progressive way of teaching, Play, Learn and Serve program implements values-centered modules to nurture the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of the developing child. We carefully develop program that would creatively instil in the children the essential values we believe they need to grasp in preparation for a fulfilling future.

Antique Jamboree, Rainbow Ferris Wheel, Tokyo Bay Fireworks 2015 in Odaiba

Yesterday, we went to Antique Jamboree that was held at Tokyo Big Sight. We spent 2-3 hours roaming around the convention area.

Our original plan was to just visit the fair but we found out that there would be a fireworks festival / hanabi …… so our plans changed, hehe. We also visited the Palette Town for the rainbow daikanrasha ~

Loving this art <3

Known as the largest antique event in Japan, the Antique Jamboree welcomes as many as 500 unique vendors from all over the country. A vast variety of items with different tastes and styles are brought in, including both Japanese and western antiques as well as collectible toys, to provide antique fans with a fun experience of antique hunting. The “shuri-ya yokocho (antique repair street),” a popular feature of the event, also returns this year with skilled antique repairmen who offer advice on repairing porcelains and potteries, furniture, precious metal items, jewelries, toys, watches, silver items and more. A talk show by these repairmen is also scheduled during the fair. (Source: Go Tokyo)

Had tempura don for late lunch ~

Saw tall sunflowers while walking around. Himawari かわいい!

☆ Odaiba Takoyaki Museum + Vintage Nippon + Trick Art Fun in Tokyo! ☆

As promised, here is the second part of our super long day adventure! The first part is here~

I’ve been to Odaiba for many times already and this place never fails to surprise me with its omoshiroii (interesting) offers! I’m lucky to have a brother who has been here for many times already.. I really didn’t know about the themed indoor parks! :O :O

This trip reminds me of my Sunshine City / Namja Town date with Leen before..  Gotta love themed parks!

I wanna go back again *_*  :yay:

From Diver City (mall), we walked to DECKS Tokyo Beach (name of the mall / bldg, not really a beach haha) for the indoor museums.

If only we didn’t eat so much, I would’ve eaten my dinner here! We got there when people were already going home.. so we almost owned the place. Haha 😀

Who would’ve thought that a Takoyaki museum exists?!

There is also a “temple” inside the mini museum.

Everything is just too cool.  :cute2:
