This will be just a quick blog update! Hope I could do a Hobonichi with me summary one of these days! ;_; Soo many things are happening all at once & I don’t know which to prioritize, omg haha. *GO ME*
Also, my daily weekday schedule has been pretty much like this because gotta #hustle:
- Wake up at around 6 AM
- Gym work-out time from 7-8 AM. It’s been too HOT to run these days. If I don’t do any physical exercise for more than 3 days, my body becomes weird (I’d feel more sluggish, and I dislike it huhu).
- Finish all hobonichi & other Rainbowholic-related stuff before 10 AM (schedule all updates)
- 10AM-8PM – managerial / admin-related work for JLM Store (Sometimes, I’d have 2 jobs in 1 day. Manager Kaila would evolve to Kaila Sensei from time to time lol)
- 9PM onwards – personal projects / editing work / etc.
- Sleep at around 12 midnight..or 1 AM max.
(cry myself to sleep & wonder why I push myself too hard lol)
- *repeat* haha
Anyway, let’s move on to the real blog post haha!
Send help please. Current state of my workspace after filming 3 videos in a row.
Introducing: Kaila’s Book of Positive Things series!
Coming real soon: How to achieve your dreams!
Will upload it on www.rainbowholic.tv this week ~
Summer heat, unlimited milk teas, stationery loots, streets of Taipei, moody weather, lanterns, delicious street food, old friends… and my Fujicolor disposable film camera.
I can still vividly remember all the memories from this trip. I hope that you could also feel the raw happiness, warmth of friendship, and the sense of discovery I both felt & had during those time through my photos below. : )
Thinking of getting a real film / vintage camera these days. For some reason, there’s this certain charm in analog. I have been blogging “manually” through my hobonichi diary for months and it has brought me with so much joy. I think that it’s about time to go back where I initially started to practice my love for photography (I started with film before ^^). No VSCO filter / any photo editing app can ever replace the excitement feeling that film does to me. : )
Jiufen and its vibrant reds
Street food I couldn’t resist
It’s been a week since my Taiwan trip with my univ friends and IT WAS SUCH A BLAST waaaaah ~
We planned this entire trip since late 2015 and finally, it happened! Why does it feel like I just dreamt about it??? *_*
*currently missing everyone*
Thank you Patrik for this photo!
I can’t wait to blog the entire series!
If you are thinking about exploring Asia, Taiwan is definitely one of my recommended countries. If you are a Studio Ghibli / kawaii fan, then you will definitely LOVE Taiwan!
Never been in a place with so many Totoro / Ghibli stuff! I even found a milktea place with No Face packaging design, haha.
Spirited Away’s visuals / sceneries were heavily inspired by this wonderful place called “Jiufen”.

So delighted to know that Taiwan also does the stamp-collecting trend! Was able to influence my friends Kat & Lora to go on a stamp rally with me.
