Yesterday, my fellow stationery addict friend Knatt, her little sister and I had a kawaii treat at a limited Kiiroitori Diary x Tower Records Cafe. It’s located just a few steps away from Kiddyland Harajuku / Omotesando.
The cafe will run until September 10, 2017. If you are in Tokyo, I’d suggest lining up for this! 🙂
We didn’t see the line so when we went straight to the cafe, the staff assisted us where to queue. As expected, the waiting system was so organized.
As much as I love kawaii cafes, I’ve been training myself to not crave for too much sweets lately.
And is it so weird that I haven’t been to the famous Kawaii Monster Cafe ever? I just can’t imagine eating all the food coloring and everything, haha! That’s why I got so relieved when I saw their menu and found out that they offer taco rice, which is one of my faves, haha!
Every corner is instagram-friendly so if you love taking photos, this place is really nice 🙂
If you started to read my blog years before, you would know how obsessed I was with Rilakkuma!
For some reason, it brought some nostalgia back haha, lol. I’ve already passed the crown to my super Rilakkuma fan friend, Knatt ~ :)) I’m a Gudetama fan convert now, lol.
Here is this week’s update & photo dump! Enjoy the photos!
Last night, we’ve finally released our first travel guide e-book project under the Our Kawaii Tokyo brand! It’s a creative guide / compilation of our favorite hangout places in Harajuku, Shibuya & Shinjuku. If you love the things that I visit or hoard (coughs stationery coughs), you will also enjoy exploring around Tokyo with this guide.
Ashley, Allie and I really worked hard on this one (2 years in the making or so, lol #nevergiveup). Allie did the entire layout & everything’s wonderfully done!
We had to change many pages along the way because some shops closed down & we wanted to give the reader a more user-friendly experience (putting ourselves in her/his shoes) so. We hope that you will also enjoy browsing our mini guide. We wish to create more themed travel guides in the future. ^^
The price right now for June 2017 is 1200 JPY. You can purchase it from Rainbowholic Shop. ^^
Illustrations / patterns by Allie. Photos by everybody 🙂
Here’s a quick update and some photos from our family vacation here in Tokyo.
It’s been real fun so far & I’m so happy that I get to show them around places that I also enjoy.
Ever since, my parents have always been hardworking and busy at work…. so this trip really means a lot to all of us. I still do not know how this trip came possible (to save up for the three of us seemed impossible omg) but I strongly believe that there was a divine intervention along the way. Haha!
I’m planning on making a more “descriptive” blog entry in the future but for now, these will do! ; )
Wore kimono and strolled around Asakusa. It was their first time to experience this! ?
Read my Kyoto Kimono Rental Wargo experience at their Sensoji branch here!
Yesterday night, out of impulse, I made a line blog. It’s for my Nihongo practice! 頑張ります！
Sharing shiba inu and cat cuteness ~
Hobonichi-ing during the trip!
